Saturday Morning Shabbat
Saturday Morning Shabbat
In accordance with expert medical advice, the PJC building remains closed due to COVID-19. We look forward to opening our doors again as soon as our medical team assure us that it is safe to do so.
Our weekly Shabbat morning service is liturgically traditional and egalitarian. It features spirited singing and prayer, the weekly chanting of the parsha (section of the Torah read each Shabbat) and haftarah, and an informal Torah study discussion. Everyone is welcome regardless of background. Each service is followed by a Kiddush luncheon, during which congregants and guests continue the discussion of the Torah Study, catch up with friends, meet new people and nosh on bagels and lox.
Our Shabbat morning Zoom services start at 10:00 a.m.
