The Nitzanim program provides a basic introduction to Jewish Life Cycle, Jewish Holidays, traditions and Torah Stories. Children will learn through creative and stimulating activities, such as music, dance, storytelling, cooking, games and arts. Children will experience Jewish time and space and the Hebrew language through actively engaging in blessings, prayers and holidays in class activities. The learning will impact families to become empowered to realize their own skills and strengths as full partners in their children's Jewish Education, as the class comes together as a sacred community.

Prayers: Blessings for food, Shabbat, Sh'mah
Hebrew: Daily life words such as shalom, lehitraot (good-bye), todah rabah (thank you), andslichah (sorry):
~The Hebrew alphabet, colors and numbers, their own Hebrew names.
~Hebrew words associated with the synagogue: torah, aron, bimah, etc.
~Hebrew words related to Holidays: shofar, lulav, ner, etc.
